St Kitts Weddings Caribbean in Focus

The natural beauty and breathtaking landscape of St. Kitts offers an ideal honeymoon location in the heart of the Caribbean. Marriage Requirements: There are no residency requirements. A valid passport and birth certificate are required and a marriage licence will need to be obtained on the island. Marriage Licence Application forms should be obtained from the Legal Department, Government Headquarters. The application form must be completed in the federation and signed in the presence of a Justice of Peace.

Residency Requirement: None.
Documents Required: Essential documents. If a Roman Catholic priest is officiating, a letter from the home priest stating that the couple are unmarried is required. If an Anglican, or other, priest is officiating then a letter stating that the couple are known and unmarried is required. Original or certified copies of birth certificates of any children may be requested. In the case of either party being divorced or widowed, additional documents will also be required.

Fees: Special Licence is US$80. Justice of Peace fee from US$20. Marriage Officer fee
from US$50.
Witnesses: Two people are required.
